The large, heated indoor swimming pool is glorious and beautiful to swim in, especially in December. The beds are very comfortable with super comfy mattresses, perfect for rest. Located in a mountainous area just outside of the charming white village of Competa, this hotel is a great base for hikes in the countryside with hiking trails for all abilities nearby. Although the area is hilly, there are plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance and Cómpeta town can be reached in about 25 minutes. It's also a short drive or taxi ride into town or to nearby pueblo villages that must be explored. Plus, day trips to Granada and the ski resort of Sierra Nevada are easily accessible from the hotel. Keep in mind that the access to the hotel by car is a bit complicated and may be difficult for someone with mobility issues, but it's well indicated. However, once you arrive, the tranquil surroundings and exceptional views of both the mountains and sea make up for the journey.
