Our kids loved exploring the hotel grounds and the room was large enough for our family of six to move around easily. Food options were plentiful and delicious – even for picky eaters. However, be aware that you may have to pay full price for your children at the breakfast buffet, which may be expensive for a family of four. While there's no adult only pool, the hotel is very family friendly. The only downside is that the pool area can get crowded with children. Despite this, The Kahala Hotel and Resort is highly recommended for a fabulous family stay and a unique and healing experience. Show more

The resort is also not crowded which is a plus for some guests. Hotel staff are diverse and friendly. One downside, however, is the lack of diversity in the clientele. Overall, The Ritz-Carlton O'ahu, Turtle Bay is the perfect holiday place for families and even offers a free photo shoot. For families traveling with toddlers, the resort's temperature-controlled children's pool with slides was a huge hit, as was the easy beach accessibility with reserved chairs available.
