Breakfast
Guests overall had mixed feelings about the breakfast at The Gailes Hotel & Spa. Some guests raved about the options available, including a big Scottish breakfast and massive choices from pastries to fresh fruit salads. However, some guests found the breakfast service to be slow, which caused delays on breakfast. Additionally, some guests were disappointed with the quality of the hot food, which they felt was bland and tasteless. The cooked breakfast was often found to be disappointing by guests with some only receiving four items, including cold bacon and a grilled tomato. Some guests noted that the continental buffet didn't have much to offer or was missing key items like bread or fresh fruit. Despite these complaints, guests still found the breakfast to be good, excellent or stunning with lovely service and comfortable rooms. Overall, guests felt that The Gailes Hotel & Spa offered a good range of meals available, but some improvements could be made to the hot breakfast options to make it truly exceptional.
