Location

The Cliffside Inn is a charming accommodation nestled in a magnificent location. Guests couldn't get enough of the superb location right by the cliff walk, making it convenient to see all the nearby sightseeing spots such as the mansions and Easton Beach. The hotel's position near the cliff walk and ocean view provides a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. The inn's location is also conveniently close to shops, restaurants and great walking paths. Many guests appreciated the lovely little inn tucked away in a nice location and found that the proximity to the cliff walk and mansions made it easy to explore the area on foot. The Cliffside Inn's location was deemed amazing with a beautiful view of the water and an ideal spot to enjoy the views and walk along the cliff walk.

Breakfast

The Cliffside Inn's breakfast is a highlight for many guests with many describing it as delicious, outstanding, superb and gourmet. There is a variety of choices, all freshly made and presented excellently. The French press coffee is also highly praised. Guests enjoy a different and wonderful breakfast every morning and appreciate the healthy and decadent choices available. The offering includes cheese appetizers and four different wines, a nice touch before going out for dinner. Some guests found the breakfast disappointing or limited, but for many, it was the best they had experienced at a B&B during their trip. The COVID precautions did not affect the quality of breakfast. Overall, the breakfast at The Cliffside Inn impresses guests with its high-end, homemade and delicious offerings.

Rooms

The Cliffside Inn's rooms have been described as lovely, quirky, beautiful, spacious and tastefully decorated. The Governor's Suite comes with a warning about its luxurious bathtub and the Schwann room is perfect for solo travelers but might be tight for couples. Some rooms were noisy and drafty and there is no elevator, but the decor throughout the property is exquisite. Guests can expect accommodations that are well-situated, cozy and roomy. Although some have noted issues with climate control and ants, on the whole, the rooms at the Cliffside Inn are stunning and comfortable. The main house and suite located a short distance from the hotel are both beautiful and the location itself is breathtaking.

Guests were highly impressed with the immaculate common areas and cozy rooms that were beautifully decorated with an attention to detail. The interior style and appearance exceeded expectations and everything was well maintained. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, making sure that everything is clean and safe for guests. Though a few guests found insects in the Atlantic Suite, overall, everything was kept very clean and the hotel is a beautiful, clean boutique hotel that is highly recommended by guests.
