The excellent spa and pool facilities were also a highlight with some mentioning their appreciation for the sauna and steam room. Though some felt that the leisure facilities could have done with an overhaul, overall guests were happy with their access to the pool and its surrounding area. The addition of a viewing glass for the pool was not a favorite among guests, though they understood its purpose. While some guests enjoyed the lovely pool, others complained that it was absolutely freezing and badly in need of refurbishing. The towel supply was also often inadequate and some guests found it disappointing that the pool closed early. However, families loved the pool and there was plenty of space to swim. In terms of facilities, some guests noted that there weren't enough loungers around the pool area and there was no designated storage area for clothing.
