Yes, because in the '90s the castle hosted many institutions with different activities (school, kindergarten, boarding school, mill, bakery etc), and from 2012 it opened the gates as hotel, restaurant and wine cellar.

Are there any elements of particular historical importance at the building?
There are some portraits about the previous owners, an old piano, typewriter, a few objects of everyday use.

The main attraction at La Roata are the 5 authentic cottages, moved piece by piece and restored onto the property, more than 120 years old.

Their architectural style is genuine Bukovina style.

Has restoration work taken place?
Yes, in terms of 2021 comfort: bathroom addition, wi fi.

Are there any elements of particular historical importance at the building?
We kept as many elements as possible from the original cottages (pieces of wood, doors, decor etc.)
