They go above and beyond to satisfy all guests' requirements and make their stay enjoyable. The housekeeping is brilliant and the breakfast staff is excellent. The staff is charming and very efficient in all the dining, bar and lounge areas. They wear visors and constantly clean and tidy the premises. Special mentions go to the waiters/waitresses who are doing a fabulous job - they are polite, friendly and professional. The main doorman, Raymond, is outstanding and keeps the front of the house running well putting in 110% effort. Overall, the service is excellent, providing guests with an old-fashioned service experience in a stunning location. However, some guests encountered one particular member of staff who came across as rude and unhelpful and some said that the foreign staffs’ limited English was a bit of a challenge. Nevertheless, The Victoria Hotel & Source Spa is a lovely grand old hotel with helpful, polite and lovely staff.
